Description
Cardboard 256-piece puzzle that depicts Europe during the Second World War. Final puzzle is 19" x 19". New Zealand made. All piece are present, however some have been torn. The map indicates, what is now known as The Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Denmark, Belgium and the tip of France are all occupied German territory. The map’s boundaries were only current for a short period of time, likely to be between 10 May, 1940, when the Germans occupied Denmark and Norway, and 22 June, 1941, when the Germans attacked the Soviet Union, expanding into Soviet occupied Poland. Note that most of the pieces are cut into the Nazi Swastika symbol and fit into where the German Army moved through Europe. Box is cardboard with detachable lid. Lid is printed with an image of Europe in red, yellow, and black.
