Description
Letter regarding Birch's resignation from the M division. R.E.C. (later AREC is a subdivision of NZART). The letter thanks Birch for his efforts; asks for suggestions for the division going forward; mentions return of minute books; mentions a radio call made the previous Sunday. Ward was the Section Leader of the M Division of the Radio Emergency Corps, an umbrella of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters. REC was formed after the 1931 Napier earthquake.
