Brief History
This MDL computer system appears to have been used by an Auckland accounting company and dates to the early 1980s. MDL (Microprocessor Development Limited) was an Auckland company, founded in 1978, which both imported computer products and designed and sold their own computers, including multiuser MX systems. MDL was one of only a few New Zealand-made computer brands available at that time.
The computer is DOS based, and runs the Interactive Applications Accounting Software package. This software was also locally developed in Auckland.
