Description
Salon style pedestal hairdryer, pre-1961. The electric powered motor drives the fan and heats the air, which is then blown out the head cover onto the customer's hair. The lever on the pole allows the motor and head cover to be lowered or raised. The motor and head cover can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally. The head cover and fan unit can be rotated vertically from the attachment point with the motor. The three wheels are now metal only, although they used to have a rubber liner. The head cover has been painted multiple times.
