Description
The first flight from Auckland to Wellington by seaplane: the machine in the harbour of the capital after its journey of 400 miles in five hours. The first Auckland to Wellington flight was accomplished last week when Mr Leo Walsh (managing director of the New Zealand Flying School at Auckland), Mr R. Johnson (works manager), and Mr G. Bolt (pilot) landed safely in Wellington Harbour. The journey of 400 miles was done in five hours six minutes.
