Description
The Southern Cross photographed after landing at the Milson Aerodrome last Saturday. A perfect landing was made by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, but the machine ...causing a wheel to sink axle-deep and breaking the rod of the undercarriage. The tip of one wing was crumpled and the port propeller was broken. Nobody was hurt ...the speed of the aeroplane was only five miles an hour at the time.
