Description
Steel wire container for holding pieces of soap, with wire handle. A circular piece of wire holds the container shut. Also known as a 'soap saver' it would hold old pieces of soap and would be shaken in the water to make a lather for washing dishes. Probably dating from between 1920 and 1960.
