Silver metal, and brown, dark and light blue enamel coloured pin from Hawkes Bay and East Coast Aero Club. Believed to have been presented to Jean Batten. Front: dark blue enamel roundel with propeller design and statement H.B. & E.C. AERO CLUB, within roundel is front view image of bi-plane with light blue background and brown enamel piece below to represent ground Reverse: pin at reverse, engraved with script stating JEAN BATTEN LIFE MEMBER 1934; SILVER pressed in to metal mould
