Description
Cardew Voltmeter, No.148, made by Drake and Gorham, London. The voltmeter is round with a white glass covered dial calibrated from 0 ~ 120. Voltmeter has a long cylindrical shaft with an attachment clip at its base. Voltmeter is covered in a metal shell that is bronze in colour. A long black pointer pivots at the centre for direct read-outs. To measure 130 volts. Total current may be kept on continuously. Resistance 361.05 ohms at 135.6. Meter has a small museum tag reading 'Cardew Voltmeter. To measure 130 Volts total. Current may be kept on consistently. Resistance 361.05. OHMS. At 135.6'
