Steenbeck 701 35mm flat bed film editing table. Six plate, i.e. 1 picture track and 2 sound tracks. 7 editing turn tables. Raised console in centre with 1 speaker. Flexible desk lamp on left corner. Grey/blue coloured desk with wooden top and metal body, control panels on the top front of both legs, cream coloured lamp attached to back right of desk top, viewing monitor attached to centre back of desk top with speaker attached to left side of monitor. Desk top also features 6 reel attachements, 3 on each side of desk, and a film feeding mechanism on desk top in front of monitor.
Brief History
A number of New Zealand films were edited on this machine, including Bridge to Nowhere, Came a Hot Friday and Ruby & Rata.
