Tala brand icing set- set no. 1705. Around 1950s era. 1-2: Metal and red and white plastic icing syringe 3-8: Six icing tubes - each has different shape and marked with 2, 3S, 4, 5, 8, 11. 9-10: Cardboard box - lid with cake design and merchandising on outside offering icing and baking related products. 11-12: Yellow cardboard packaging for displaying icing tubes, spare piece of paper. 13 - Paper instructional booklet describing icing techniques such as 'flower making and trellis work' 14 - Advertising booklet encouraging customers to 'match your kitchen colour scheme' and letter from company's Managing Director stating 'Dear Ladies, We offer our products to you in this catalogue and believe you will be interested to learn that this family business has been designing and producing articles for women for sixty years....'
