Description
Dictaphone machine, earphones, microphones.(Description from accession cards). Dictaphone unit in three parts, Part One - (Main Unit) Black rectangular box unit with mechanisms on top including Reel, Switches and Dials a plate reads "THE DICTAPHONE / TRANSCRIBING MACHINE / DICTAPHONE CORPORATION / NEW YORK / MODEL B10 SOLE MANUFACTURERS TYPEX / MADE IN U.S.A.", black power cord and two other cords go to a unit of two metal domes one above a red base and the other above a black base (positive & negative?), both ends are venting, one side of unit reads "THE / DICTAPHONE / REG U.S. PAT. OFF.", other side reads "THE / DICTAPHONE / REG U.S. PAT. OFF." and "THE DICTAPHONE / ... / MADE IN U.S.A.". the base is covered with green felt and has a paper note stuck in centre that reads "WE GUARANTEE / the material and construction of all dicta- / phones and shaving machines and will re- / place, free of charge, any part or parts thereof / which may, within twelve months from date".
