Bank and Climb Unit, used with autopilot Type A-3A, made by AHCO. Black metal rectangular enclosed unit with 2 glass dials and four adjusting knobs on front panel. Four feet at back of Unit. Metal plate at right states 'CONTROL BANK-CLIMB GYRO, TYPE A-3A AIRCRAFT AUTOMATIC PILOT, AIRFORCES UNITED STATES ARMY, SPEC. NO. 94-27979, ORD.NO. W-20-017-AC-1160, MFR'S ASS'Y. DWG. NO. JH6000, SER.NO. AF 44 30859, JACK & HEINTZ. INC. CLEVELAND. OHIO.' Eight connection points at back, metal plate on side states instructions for 'BEFORE TAKE-OFF' and 'AFTER TAKE-OFF'. Two paper tags attached to object with string; first states object related to RNZAF, NAC and Ser. No. 30859 and Part no. JH 6000; second states similar info.
