Description
A grease gun with a two jointed nozzle and spring inside body. Metal partially finished with blue metallic paint. On both sides of handle is engraved in metal 'LINCOLN'. On top of gun is '40350' as part of mould. At base of gun is engraved in metal: LINCOLN ENGINEERING CO. ST. LOUIS, MO., MODEL - 1142.
Brief History
Lincoln Industrial Corporation was founded in 1910 and is still in business in 2020, manufacturing automated lubrication systems, manual lubrication equipment and industrial pumping systems. Grease guns are common tools in workshops and garages, used for lubrication, and have been manufactured by Lincoln from early in the company’s history.
