Description
A framed image of five photographs joined together to show Auckland in 1863. The photographs are taken from Partington's Mill, now Seabrook Fowlds Ltd. The images have been marked and labelled to show Karangahape Road, Pitt Street, Liverpool Street, College Hill, Greys Avenue, Hobson Street, Cook Street, the Town Hall site, Wellesley Street, Queen Street, Airedale Street, Albert Barracks and Wakefield Street. An unsettled North Head and Devonport can be seen across the harbour with Rangitoto in the background.
