Description
Green bakelite cover, open back, long electric cord covered in brown and clay coloured fabric. Facade shows one original knob (white) and one unoriginal (black), black dial with red, green, cream and white accents showing station range.
Small name plate at front underneath dial and in between the knobs. Rola brand speaker, no ARTS & P sticker.
Manufacture presumed to be post-1955 as company became Ultimate-Ekco (N.Z.) Co. Ltd. in 1955 and serial no. plaque on reverse gives maker as Ultimate-Ekco.

The Cygnet is a 5 valve broadcast radio made by Ultimate-Ecko (NZ) Co. Ltd in Auckland from around 1953 to 1959.
