Description
Ink blue coloured cotton Naval collar. Front: three slim white bands of cotton fabric around edge of collar (attached by hand stitching -underside of stitching can be seen on reverse of collar). Reverse: blue and white striped fabric on to which information is printed in black ink (possibly maker and owners info). Cotton straps at bottom of collar for attaching to body (middle panel has two fabric loops either side; left and right panels have long straps attached and face inwards towards loops). Left and right panels both have section of striped fabric attached on outside edge- possibly fabric straps which have been cut off. Hand stitching within inside edge of panels to strengthen.
