Description
World War II time uniform: one of two caps of forage style. Grey/blue wool: narrow hat, worn on right side of head. There are 2 brass buttons on front of cap- correct cap positioning should have buttons in line with right eye. On left side at front is gold coloured metal badge: small metal crown above eagle in flight. Cap has flaps on each side- face upwards with a clip to keep in place. Flaps can be let down to cover ears. Date printed on lining: 1943. Also logo of manufacturer R.Z. BL??MFIELD LTR LONDON. In middle of logo is printed '7' - size. Printed around logo are 'N' , 'W' , and '7'. Badge attached by screws- only 2 present on badge, one missing. Headband inside made of khaki velvet, lining is khaki polyester.
