Description
A metal, trapezoidal-shaped tag. One side has a blue and silver map of Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. The 'Teal' symbol of a flying fish (Maroro) is printed in gold as well as the slogan 'NEW ZEALAND'S AIRLINE' and 'TEAL KNOWS THE SOUTH PACIFIC BEST' underneath that. On the reverse is a printed blue rectangle in which the name is etched. Printed below in blue is 'NEW ZEALAND'S INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE.' 'International' is underlined. There is a hole in the shorter edge of the trapezoid where a ball and link chain is attached (to be used to attach tag to luggage). Possibly Staff or Crew luggage tags.
