Description
A military medal and rank insignia bar. The medal is on a ribbon which has a broad orange stripe running down the middle, bordered by a white, black and grey border stripe. The medal is bronze and has the head of King George V in profile facing left. Around the head are the words: "Georgivis V Britt: Omn: Rex et Ind: Imp:" On the reverse is a man astride a prancing horse and the years "1914 1918" embossed around. The rank insignia is a long silk covered bar with various colours ranging from pink, white, blue, grey, navy, white, orange and a multi-coloured hue on the right of the insignia. A long metal pin at the back is meant for securing the insignia onto a uniform.
