Description
A HF (High Frequency) Transceiver used on many of Cliff Tait's delivery flights. Generally installed on the seat besides the pilot and loaded into a trailing long wire aerial which was fed out through a hole in the bottom of the aircraft and turned via a standing wave ratio meter for resonance. The transceiver is fixed on an installation tray which is fitted with 4 anti-vibration mountings. The control panel is affixed to the front of the unit with the motor at the rear. The motor is encased within a black metal shell with ventilation on both long sides.
