Description
Bar with 3 World War I ribbons and medals awarded to 2/Lt. J. Bayldon: -1 Medal - star-shaped, bronze-coloured with cross-swords and crown on top. In the centre is a banner with "1914-15" embossed on it. On the reverse is inscribed: "2/2058 2/Lt. J. Bayldon N.Z.E.F." This medal hangs from a blue, white and red striped ribbon. -2 Medal - round, silver-coloured, with the head of King George V on the obverse and the words: Georgivis V Britt. Omn. Rex et Ind: Imp:" On the reverse is embossed a man sitting on a prancing horse and the words embossed are: "1914 1918". This medal hangs from a ribbon with a broad orange stripe in the middle bordered by white and blue stripes. -3 Medal - round, gold-coloured. Embossed on the obverse is a lady holding a laurel wreath in her right hand, with outspread wings and left hand stretched forward.
