Description
Candle holder lamp with its own case, possibly from World War I (judging by the date 1916 on the maker's plate). -1 Carry case - made of tin with a lid that slides up the leather carry handle with the help of support brackets on the side. This is a tall slim carry case with the maker's plate in oval shape on the front. -2 Candleholder lamp - metal holder with hinged sections which collapse into a flat unit so that it can fit snugly into the carry case. When opened up, it forms a square with a handle and has a candleholder at the base to support a half candle. There are ventilation perforations at the top and bottom and a carry handle. Not sure if this unit had glass panes, but there is no glass at present on the unit.
