Description
Silver medal, round and decorated, with a bail on top through which passes a very long red silk ribbon. On the obverse of the medal is inscribed "3rd" and on the reverse is inscribed "Henning's Speedway C.Buchanan". Below that are the silver and other Hallmarks.
This medal was presented to Charlie Buchanan following a race at the Henning's Speedway at Mangere. Henning's Speedway was established in 1928 and is credited as the first speedway in Auckland.
