Orange cotton drill fabric overall. Badge on shoulder with yellow flame and yellow V on blue background. There are belt loops and button side tabs on waist. 2 diagonal zip breast pockets. White cloth and metal zip. 2 side zips vents. 4 pockets on legs - 2 ankle zips, 1 hip pocket on right.
Brief History
Pioneering aviator, Cliff Tait, wore this bright orange flight suit during a delivery flight of an aircraft to Indonesia in 1973. The bright colour of flight suit meant that if the plane went down, the pilot could be seen by search and rescuers.
