Description

Water meter with round body, cream in colour with rotating multiple meter reading in litres. The meter itself is black bakelite with a progressive meter counter numbered on top with the word "LITRE" engraved on the face. Readings are over 0 to 9,000,000. Present reading shows 399 in white figures on black and 165 in white figures on red. There is a hinge-mounted lid with the serial number 270622 under the lid. The lettering 44S can be seen embossed on top of the lid.
