"This 1987 facsimile edition is presented by Stephen Dobell-Brown as a means of preserving the important information it contains about Australian horse drawn vehicles. The original atlas was published for the benefit of coachbuilders and wheelwrights, who could refer to the drawings when they wished to know the construction details of a particular type or style of vehicle".
