Description
Black rubber face mask with glass plates for eyes and a green filter above the mouth. 5 elasticised straps attach to the mask and meet at a pentagon-shaped piece of green fabric with "No.37 II, W&G 1942" printed in black. Attached to the filter is a rubber tube shaped like a series of round discs (concertina type). At the other end is a red-painted metal container with an oval-shaped base. On one side there are 2 thin rectangular slits.
