Description
Cylindrical lamp of black painted metal. Through the 100 mm diameter glass front, a light bulb is visible. A long cylindrical eyepiece runs along the top. There is an area underneath that allows the lamp to be screwed to something. There is a curved handle attached to the back with a latch on the inside. A black chord extends from the end of the handle. At the far end of the chord is a black plastic attachment with 2 holes in it. Attached to one side of the lamp is an oval plate with this written in gold: "Admiralty Pattern 5110E, Lantern portable, Signalling Serial No. 261035, year 1944, A.B."
