Description
Greyish-blue bag of PVC coated cotton, slightly trapezoidal in shape with the length of base slightly longer than top edge. There is white piping around the edges of the 2 larger sides which also have identical decorations. "TEAL" is in large, white letters (155 x 71 mm). Beneath that "NEW ZEALAND'S INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE" appears in blue (225 x 9 mm). The TEAL logo of a stylised flying fish (or Maroro) is in gold after that.
A metal zipper runs across the top and part way down the sides a piece of PVC cotton 5 mm wide is tied to the head of the zipper. Just below where the zipper ends, on one side, is a loop of PVC with a metal loop attached to it. This loop is missing from the other side.
The interior is unlined except for the rectangular piece of plastic sewn into the base. The stitching is visible from the underside. There are also 2 cardboard strips 28 mm wide just inside the top. They are fastened on with metal studs visible from the exterior 15 mm from the piping.
