Description
In a collection of small portraits of graduates of the Walsh Brothers Flying School 1916, 1917, 1918, taken for their RAC certificates. This image shows Harold Haddyn Smith, born April 22 1894, Pahiatua an died 1 September 1979 in New Zealand. During World War One Smith was ranked Trooper in the Wellington Mounted Rifles, 11/381. He was discharged in 1916 and later transferred to the Royal Flying Corp, then RAF until 1921
