Description
Oval shaped cork thermometer with brass plate screwed to the top (30 mm wide). A glass thermometer is attached to the plate and a number scale is etched into the metal to the left of the thermometer, and to the right a scale of words from Cold to Hot. "G. H. ZEAL LONDON / ENGLAND" appears in one corner. The wooden base is painted blue and has red decorations. Much of it has chipped away, but "Fiji" is still visible on the front and the reverse says: "from / NZ's 48 winter degrees / to FIJI's 80 summer degrees / TEAL will make the / change for you in / 5 HOURS".
