Description

Black metal box, shaped like a rectangle with one corner missing. 2 cylindrical shaped pieces are attached to the 2 large sides along with several dials. One side also has a plastic plate with the words "Object (?), ?, Finish, Altitude" on it. The reverse side has written in white "A.M. / BUBBLE SEXTANT / MARK IX / 6B/151/ No.15482/40 / BRIT. PATS. / 480112 490621 / AND PENDING". On the top is a clear half circle. One side is open revealing a mirror inside. One of the narrow sides has a glass eyepiece with a black rim, the rim is broken.
