Description
Rectangular box with hinges along back to open lid. Colour is silver-coloured metal except for inside and outside of lid. The exterior of the lid has vertical, black and white stripes taking up not quite half of the lid on the left side. The right side centres on an image of a man in a top hat lighting a cigarette. Above the image, "Marcovitch" is printed in white on a black background. Under the image, "Black & White Cigarettes" in white and "Made in London, England by Marcovitch - Piccadilly. W." in black in a white rectangle.
The edges of the lid are painted white and the 2 outside edges have in black: "25 Black & White". The interior of the lid has the same background, vertical black and white stripes to the left and black on the right. Centred on this, is a map showing the Eastern half of Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. A black dot on New Zealand has dotted lines coming out of it in 7 directions. The TEAL logo of a stylised bird appears in black on the map. To the right of the map on a strip of white paint it says: "Specially packed for TEAL/New Zealand's International Airline".
