Description
1. Handkerchief: White embroidered handkerchief pinned to a square piece of black paper. The handkerchief is folded in such a way so there are 3 points on the bottom. All, except for the top layer, are pinned to the black paper with a straight pin. The top of the handkerchief is also attached with a straight pin but it is covered by a bow made of blue ribbon. In one corner of the handkerchief (the top corner) is embroidered 2 plants with red flowers, 2 red star shapes and "TEAL" in blue. The edge of the handkerchief is hemmed with 2 decorative embroidery patterns. The black paper is square and 2 pins are visible from the backside.
2. Card: The card (or label) is small. White with black writing, it says: "Pohutukawa, New Zealand's Christmas Tree, presents a blaze of red blossom along the coasts of North Island during December and January", followed by the TEAL logo (stylised flying fish (Maroro)).
