Description
Butchers Panel Carbine camera. Black case, leatherette covered. Rectangular case with rolled ends. The leatherette has a stippled marking and also parallel lines forming patterns on the leather. Camera substantially made of well seasoned wood covered with Morocco-grained leatherette; real leather bellows with long single extension, aluminium backplate. The front "fork" or standard is of cast aluminium alloy. The interior of the body is polished black. The metal fittings are either heavily nickel plated or painted with rich, black enamel. The front panel has nickel plated metal hinges. The panel drops down to form the base and extends the bellows and front elements. The view finder is mounted above the front elements. Lukos II - f8 lens, Aplanat Primus Rapid. The oval metal plaque below the front elements reads: "Butcher's Panel Carbine, British Made".
