Description
Metal instrument. At front is a cotton filter and metal vaporizer with a metal knob ar and a scale from 1-7. Behind is a metal cylindrical absorber with a metal knob at top and a gas valve to the side. Behind the absorber are two dials measuring "Reduced Pressure" with scales from 0-120. Beside each is a gas valve for N₂O on the left hand side and O₂ on the right hand side. Between the dials is a knob controlling pressure which is attached to a large circulr knob controlling oxygen per cent. At the back is a curved platform on which chart paper would have been placed. The Model J Nargraf recorded onto moving chart paper data that was useful to an anesthesiologist, such as the patient’s blood pressure, the percentage of oxygen being administered to the patient, and the patient’s respirations. Has a stand - long round metal pipe with bracket clamped on that supports gas bottle crackers and connections.
