Description
Two photographs of an RAF Commando that have been mounted together. The one on the left shows an airplane taking off from Mascot Airport, Sydney, Australia. The airplane is flying to the right. In the distance are houses and hills. On the nose is Commando and on the body is a roundel. AL504 can be seen near to the tail. The one on the right shows the landed plane at Ohakea, New Zealand, with a group of uniformed men and women standing in front of it. It is from the right side of the airplane with part of the wing, two propellers and the tail being visible behind the crowd.
