Unpublished book. "This is a collection of a selected few of the many true incidents that happened to flying boats of Tasman Empire Airways Ltd. in the years of 1944 to 1951. During this time, the Company who had been operating Empire Class Short S. 30. flying boats for four years, progressed from them to Sandringham Tasman Class Short S. 25 and then to Solent Class Short S. 45... The incidents mentioned here come from the log book of various members of TEAL and the era is spaced over the time when the Company was expanding and services across the Tasman were increased... And to the passengers who flew with these aircrew over the years, I hope this book revives some interesting memories." - Foreword. Typed.
