Description
Black, metal box with a semi-circle display dial. The cycles on the paper dial are KC/S, KCS, MC/S MC/S and MC/S. In all, there are 5 bands. This is a 10 valve super-heterodyne with provision for high and medium frequency ranges (morse or voice) direction finding accomplished either by Aural or Visual indicator. The 2 centre dials control the band selection. One control directs the tuning band which is a black strip of metal. The second dial controls the same hand but is for finer tuning.
There are 3 black knobs. The large knob increases the volume. There are 3 up and down switches. There are 2 levers that transverse an arc. At the top right is the magic glass tuning eye. On the front panel in the bottom left corner is a blue wire-mesh cover over the speaker outlet. On the right side end is a circular cover with a screw and a circular aperture. In the aperture is a white disc with the number 7913430 printed on it.
