Description
Peaked blue-wool dress cap with a flat top and a peak at the front. Running around the outside brim of the cap, is a band of black canvas. Across the peak of the cap is a strip of leather which is attached at the sides with a black button. On the front of the cap is a badge which consists of embroidered details on a black background. At the top of the badge is a crown embroidered in gold, red and green. At the bottom of the badge is a gold laurel wreath. Between the crown and the wreath is a gold pin of a bird (albatross or eagle). On the inside of the cap, there is a lining of blue cotton and there is a leather strip around the brim. A piece of plastic bag has been inserted into the cap. On each side of the cap there are 2 holes with black rivets.
