Description

Helmet - green cotton or linen fabric. The lightweight fabric is strengthened inside with green tape sewn along the seams. The bakelite earphones are sewn into the sides of the helmet. There is a rubber, doughnut-shaped, padded ear surround. There are 3 metal fasteners down each face seam. The face opening was lined with suede leather, but this has degraded. A wire cord runs from each earphone to merge 550 mm along the cords in an aluminium connector.
