Description

Pair of Flight crew boots (RAF/RNZAF). Black leather boots. Leather sole, heel and upper leggings. A vent 90 mm long on the top of the leggings. A fitted leather strap and buckle bridges the vent. There are heel and toe plates on the soles. The inside of the boot, including the shoe, is lined with white shearling. A strip of reinforcing leather is sewn up the back of the shoe and up the back of the legging. This has a tab on the top which helps with the removal of the boot.
