Description
Field service cap or Forage Cap. Blue wool covering with a brown denim cotton lining. The side flaps have hooks that allow the flaps to be extended down over the ears. On the front are 2 brass buttons, vertically positioned embossed with a crown and bird in flight. The cap has a divided crown. The headband is velveteen tape. There is a 110 mm long label sewn into the head lining. Written in black is 292/16/N1948/3. 1944.
