Description

Field service cap or Forage Cap. Blue wool serge cloth. The lining is brown denim cotton. The inside headband is a brown velveteen tape. The side flaps have metal hooks. There are 2 brass buttons positioned vertically on the front. Embossed on the brass buttons, is a crown and eagle. On the left side front is a badge with a brass crown and a brass eagle. This badge is secured inside the cap to a brass plate with 3 locking nuts.
