Description
Ultimate SG4 four valve radio receiver, brown metal with four feet. Box has a hinged top lid from the back, opening from the front, no latch. The front face has four black plastic dials; one in the lower centre on a overlaid metal plate with window at top displaying measurement roll, a smaller knob to the right of the central knob, and one knob on each of the far left and far right central edges. The left face of the unit also has two smaller black plastic knobs.
Within the unit are three compartments, divided by a single metal sheet. Each compartment contains various valves. The valves are all made by Philips in Holland. The low frequency transformers are made by Telsen Electric Company, Birmingham.
