Telsen Electric Company, Manufacturer
A brown metal gembox with four feet. Box has a hinged top lid from the back, opening from the front, no latch. The front face has four black plastic dials, one in the lower centre on a overlaid metal plate with window at top displaying measurement roll. A smaller knob off to the right of the central knob and one knob on both the far left and far right central edges. The left face of the unit also as two smaller black plastic knobs. Within the unit are three compartments, divided by a single metal sheet. Each compartment contains various valves. The valves are all made by Philips in Holland. The low frequency transformers are made by Telsen Electric Company, Birmingham, but it is ambiguous as to whether the entire unit is made by Telsen.
