The compass points N, S, E, W, are marked at quarterly intervals. There is an arrow pointing from South to North with the numbers 6B/286. There is a small hole at the centre of the disc. There are 5 concentric circles marked on the disc. These are numbered 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. The protractor has a radial split from the first concentric circle to the circumference.
