Description

Blue, denim, cylindrical container with a crimson fabric red lining. Attached to the lining, is a black safety pin and 3 white shirt buttons. There is about 3000 mm of wool thread and 75 metres of machine twist cotton thread on a wooden spool. The maker's name on the cotton spool is J & P Coates. Made in Great Britain 633 80 yards. There is a loose, black button in the container. The cotton unrolls like a scroll. It is secured in the roll position by a black button and cotton loop.
