Description
Double-sided, silk map. On both sides, place names and waterways are indicated in black, certain roadways in red and international boundaries in green. One side of the map depicts Northern Africa. When oriented North, there is a horizontal scale of 4° - ?° and a vertical scale of 12° - 36°. Marked in red in the corners of this map is K2. The reverse side is entitled 'Cyrenaica' and it depicts North Eastern Africa, the Mediterranean Sea and Crete. This map, when oriented North, has a horizontal scale of 20° - 33°, and a vertical scale of 28° - 35°. Marked in red in the corners of the map is K1 or K1/K2. The bottom of the map (when oriented North) has a reference legend, scales and 2 indices. Maps are on a cream-coloured backing.
