Description
Flying goggles, padded leather frames. The leather padding is dark brown. The metal frames are grey, the lenses are clear glass. The lenses are twin flat panes to give distortion-free viewing. The nose bridge is made of leather. The inside of the goggles is framed with soft, suede leather. There are metal hooks on each side of the goggles, and attached to these hooks is an elastic strap which fits over the head. The strap is grey with an adjustment buckle to alter the length. The glass panes are triplex, shatter-proof glass.
Also included are two Tinted lenses, with grey metal frame. Twin flat panes.
Items are in a brown, cardboard box for housing the flying goggles and 2 tinted glasses. The stamp on top of the box reads: GOGGLES MK. VIII STORES REF.22c/930 WITH WINDOWS, TINTED - RIGHT AND LEFT (COMPETE IN HOLDERS) AND OUTFIT. ANTI DIMMING MK. VI 10136.
On the end of the box is stamped A M with a crown between the A and the M. MARK VIII 30 1013?
